Description
The medium is free from inhibitors for the isolation and cultivation of a variety of micro-organisms. It is used for sterility testing as well as a pre-enrichment broth. It is irradiated with a minimum dose of 25kGy to ensure the lethality of radiation-resistant micro-organisms
Formula:
Tryptone 17g
Soytone 3g
Sodium Chloride 5g
Dipotassium phosphate 2.5g
Dextrose 2.5g
Final pH: 7.3 ± 0.2 at 25°C
